Information is used to respond to enquiries, coordinate voluntary services, communicate about donations or programmes, maintain appropriate records, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. Blood-donor information should be used only for relevant donor coordination and shared only as needed for that purpose.

Information may be processed by hosting, email, payment or form providers involved in delivering a requested service, or disclosed where required by law. Check the privacy terms of third-party services before using them.

Retention and security

Access should be limited to authorised persons and information retained only as needed for service delivery, recordkeeping and legal requirements. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
